Top 10

I don't have an awful lot to say tonight.

I got a couple of reviews. And some of them are quite nice. Sparkly!

If any of you out there are in Britain and intend to vote in the Greatest Briton whatsit on the Beeb I have a message for you. Vote for Diana and I will hunt you down and read you Vogon poetry. Are we all clear?

The. Greatest. Briton. Ever. That's E-V-E-R. You know, in all of history. Not in the last 10 years, or your lifetime, but ever.

Issac Newton, all that gravity stuff. Yes. Darwin and evolution thingummys. Yes. Cromwell, and the whole parliament deal. Yes.

Some (pretty enough) woman that got married to someone important, had kids and got divorced (let's face it, most of us are going to do those last two), and I grant you, did some very charitable work in promoting good causes. No. No. No.

Sorry.

My 10 (in alphabetical order). And no Guy Fawkes, though I was tempted. And I think he was Spanish.

1. Jane Austen

2. Alexander Graham Bell

3. William Caxton

4. Oliver Cromwell

5. Charles Darwin

6. Elizabeth I

7. Lord Nelson

8. Issac Newton

9. Emmeline Pankhurst

10. William Shakespeare

It's a pretty difficult thing to do, pick 10 only. I expect people to disagree with me as well. But thrrrp to them.

Bedtime.

G'night.
