Oh, oh, a birthday!

Hey letdown1184 *waves*.

Thanks for adding me to your favourites, but goddammit girl, go get a guestbook at signmyguestbook.com so's I can stalk you equally effectively! And do you need a design for your diary? The only bad bit of Diaryland is those damn templates!! But I love your entries. Write more.

It's Mr Me's 40th birthday today. Hoorah, for him, you know for the whole breathing for 40 consecutive years thing. Y'know I'm pretty sure by the time I get to 40 I'm going to have got bored of breathing by then.

I've come up with a new birthday theory. I mean really, why are we buying presents for people for living? We are designed to do it. And I don't know about y'all, but I'm not particularly excited about getting older anymore. I mean, I can buy beer, go into all the pubs I need to get into and shag whoever I like (well, ok, so that's just Mr Me, but that's who I like). So, I therefore don't see the need to get any older. 24'll do me. I'm stopping here.

Can you imagine a brief pause while I poke my tongue out at the aging process please? Thanks.

So yeh. I'm 24 and Mr Me is 40. Ohhh, that sounds so much worse than 24 and 39. I still have the remnants of the big ol' issues I had about this age thing you know. It's true, most of the time I just like to scare people with the facts but sometimes it freaks me out too. Mostly in a selfish way. I mean, goddammit, he's going to leave me on my own when I'm old.

Anyways.....

This should be a happy day.

I'm going to make bacon and cabbage for his dinner, it makes his Irish heart go flippity-flop. Or something. And he's got a bottle of Chablis to drink. Doesn't that sound civilised?

And then, on Saturday, we're going to have a big party and get blooming laggered. Oh yes.
