War. Not in my name.

Yet again nothing is happening in this elf's world. I was painfully busy at work yesterday. Normally I like that, but yesterday, oh Lord, I had to work on the most boring of boring problems. It's difficult to concentrate when areas of your brain are shutting down in self-defence. Not only did it involve databases, it involved finance and it involved importing flat text files. Gah. Gah, gah, gah, gah. I feel dirty and used. Still.

Moving on from my personal hell. I see Mr Bush gave his State of the Union address overnight. I guess that would be a good place to mention this. I think so. I may even, if I can be bothered, and my university studies don't use up all my time (oh yes, I'm starting that again) write a rebuttal for some of Mr Bush's speech. 15th Feb, for all of you who didn't click on the link is a day of international protests against an Iraq war. There's a demo in London, that I'll be on, and ones all over the world. Join in, have a big anti-war party. Fun and politics, all in the same bag.

And this Sunday I'm going to Chinatown to celebrate the Chinese New Year. Watch the processions and listen to the firecrackers and eat chinese food. What could be better? And say goodbye to my Year of the Horse.

Wow. All of that makes it sound as if I have a life. Don't be fooled, my possums, really, I'm dreadful boring most of the time.

Now I must go and review, before I have to do some work.

Update: Bastards. Look, they want to stop the rally.
